As a fairly new member on our team I found the entire course effective. There was a great atmosphere for learning and helped form a mindset of not only being police officers but also 'gun fighters' which in all actuality is what we are within our departments. Being at a location away from our departments allowed for time to focus. Although the days were long, much different than other LE training which usually is cut short because they are 'long days' the time was used to benefit our learning experience. This is a great location for training and I am disappointed that we will be missing SWAT I & II. Great school! ~ GTI Student: Law Enforcement Officer ~ Training Course; DHS Type 3 SWAT.
This was top notch training from a top notch group. I really enjoyed it a lot! Not only because we got to work with such a great group of trainers, but local LE as well. The knowledge that you all have as instructors is incredible. You have no problems sharing any of it either which has made this class so successful. Only having 2 years as /on SWAT has made my learning easy, however, even for the guys that have 10+ years on SWAT, it looked easy for them to learn. No bitching/gripping from anyone made this course again incredible. Thanks a lot!! ~ GTI Student: Law Enforcement Officer ~ Training Course; DHS Type 3 SWAT.

Everyone here goes out of their way to do whatever it takes to get the job done. ~ GTI Student: Law Enforcement Officer ~ Training Course; DHS Type 3 SWAT.
The instructor was very knowledgeable in the material that was covered. The live fire exercises helped improve my response and accuracy while presented with minor stressors. The AS drills that were conducted allowed me to think on my feet with the use of my classmates. When mistakes were made the instructor took the time to explain what happened and why; he also explained better ways to accomplish that objective. All I can say is WOW! I have learned more in the past week about CQB than in 4 years of the Marines. Awesome Course. ~ Patrick Schmucker: Law Enforcement Officer ~ Training Course; DHS Basic SWAT.
I felt that this was an excellent course for any police officer. The drills that were taught should be implemented into every academy across the country. The information learned in this class will not only save police officer's lives but the lives of civilians, suspects and hostages. ~ Matthew McNichol: Law Enforcement Officer ~ Training Course; Immediate Action Teams (Active Shooter).
