The Government Training Institute (GTI) was founded in 2003 to address needs of state and local law enforcement agencies throughout the United States with research based training. GTI's multiple courses contain a cooperative curriculum base and ongoing research from a staff with extensive operational military and law enforcement experience.

Ken's tactical experience consists of a 25 year law enforcement career, with 14 years of Special Weapons and Tactics experience as well as over 30 years of active and reserve military service primarily with the U.S. Army Special Forces.

Ken is a born leader which was proven during his time as a Special Weapons and Tactics team leader where he was responsible for overseeing tactical operational planning and leading all tactical operations. Along with being a proven leader while working within the law enforcement community Ken demonstrated the same leadership skills through various rolls while serving over twenty years with the U.S. Army Special Forces.

Does your agency have surplus equipment or seized, forfeited assets? I'm talking about weapons, such as pistols, shotguns or rifles. Ammunition, maybe your department has changed weapons to a different caliber from what you use to carry, and the old ammo is just sitting in your armory. Do you have any Tasers and holsters that you are not using anymore? How about vehicles, boats or tactical vehicles? We are even interested if you have airplanes or helicopters.
