September 28 - 29 Dutch Moyer 2 Day Tactical Carbine Training at GTI
This course provides an intermediate level of instruction to LE and exceptional Americans who already have a solid foundation in the fundamentals of rifle marksmanship. This class focuses on increasing the shooters carbine gunfighting skillsets. Shooters will participate in a variety of evolutions including individual and team movement while shooting, utilization of various forms of cover. In addition, Tactical and emergency reloads, malfunctions and kit placement.
Day 1: Safety Brief and intro, Clearing and loading procedures, Diagnostic Assessment, Review of the fundamentals of Rifle Marksmanship, Weapon Zero and equipment configuration, Ready positions/Controlled Pairs, Alternate positions, Reloads, Malfunctions, 90/180 turns, Forward Movement, Lateral Movement, Multiple targets/next sight picture, Strong side/support side shooting and After Action Review.
Day 2: Cold Competition Shoot, Barricades, Movement to cover (Individual and Team), Vehicle Dynamics (inside and out), Get off the X drills, Scenario Training (steel, barricades, vehicles), Low light discussion and prep, Low Light Shooting (static and dynamic), After Action Review (social question and answer period).
