The Government Training Institute (GTI) was founded in 2003 to address needs of state and local law enforcement agencies throughout the United States with research based training. GTI's multiple courses contain a cooperative curriculum base and ongoing research from a staff with extensive operational military and law enforcement experience.

Joint Operations Center Exercise

Day 1: Safety Brief and intro, Clearing and loading procedures, Diagnostic Assessment, Review of the fundamentals of Rifle Marksmanship, Weapon Zero and equipment configuration, Ready positions/Controlled Pairs, Alternate positions, Reloads, Malfunctions, 90/180 turns, Forward Movement, Lateral Movement, Multiple targets/next sight picture, Strong side/support side shooting and After Action Review.

Day 2: Cold Competition Shoot, Barricades, Movement to cover (Individual and Team), Vehicle Dynamics (inside and out), Get off the X drills, Scenario Training (steel, barricades, vehicles), Low light discussion and prep, Low Light Shooting (static and dynamic), After Action Review (social question and answer period).

GTI will be hosting a Team Match Preparation Course on Saturday Sept 21st and Sunday September 22nd. You have the option to signup for Saturday only ($160) or both days ($250). If you plan on shooting the upcoming Guardian Sniper match at GTI, Mammoth, Bushnell, Snipers Unknown or any similar field-style match, this course would be extremely beneficial for you!

Sniper matches are dynamic, require the ability to think and communicate on the fly and encompass a wide variety of fieldcraft skills in order to be successful. Brandon Zielinski and Brandon Hembree have designed a curriculum to teach individuals all the tricks of the trade. Topics include but are not limited to:

The Tactical Games were held at GTI August 10 - 11 and this was one event for the record books. The battles were unlike anything else these competitors ever faced. The environment was unforgiving and mother nature showed no mercy. We took the games to a whole other level with GTI as the battle grounds.

July 27 we had our first ever .22LR only match as part of the official Vudoo Rimfire Series. The event featured urban and high angle shooting stations that testing the shooters and required them to resort back to their bread and butter skill sets.

ATP Vendor High Speed Gear (HSGI) just received a massive contract with the Marine Corp to provide double rifle mag pouches that can accommodate Magpul PMAGS. We couldn't be more happy for our friends at HSGI and know the Marines will be more than happy with their top notch products!

The GTI Legion program allows civilians access to the same fantastic instructors and training venues previously only accessible to Law Enforcement, Military and First Responders.
