The Government Training Institutes's Intro to Terrorism is an 8 hour lecture course designed for first responders and their supervisors and provides insight to the methodology, mindset and tactics used by terror organizations around the world.
The class is taught by GTI's Senior Terrorism Instructor, Peter N Spagnolo, who brings his real world experience from counter terrorism operations in Kuwait, Kenya, Oman and the United Arab Emirates. In this class, students learn how to:

GTI's president Chadd Harbaugh and senior terrorism expert Peter Spagnolo recently co-authored Countering Terrorism and Insurgency in the 21st Century.
The book was edited by Professor James Forest who teaches at West Point's Combating Terrorism Center.
The publication consists of three volumes with an indepth look at the role of state and local police departments play in combating terrorism along with an emphasis on SWAT.
